Wow, this is simply awesome!
I love the kind of calm atmosphere, yet it looks like something's about to happen.
The outfit and the jewellery suit her quite well. I love the colors you used for it. The snake bracelet is a great idea. :D
I also like your use of watercolor very much.
Thanks bunches for this amazing art work! I love it to pieces.
Thank you :hug:

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the way it turned out. It's an interesting character concept, for sure. : )

Take care;

Oh, oh, oh. I like this so much. Gypsy clothing is always rad, but I really like the new inking style. The colours are great too. Did you photograph the painting? It seems a bit dark on this monitor, but I'll look at it again when I'm at home. But yeah, the colour washes paired with the fine ink-lines is great, and I'd love to see more of it.

My task is not difficult, essentially. I should only need to be immortal to carry it out.

Interesting...

I've always been (and will continue to be) really torn on the issue of inking; probably because I'm not very good at it and don't actually have a good inking utensil at this point. But, there is some gorgeous work out there that uses inking, and it's about a million times faster than painting. That's one of my beefs with it; the fact that you can whip it together so quickly with much less effort and have twice as much positive feedback. You'd think that would be a good thing, but like digital art, I have an inherint problem with 'taking the easy way out'. (My other main beef with inking is that it takes away from the 'realism' of a piece, although again, I'm not good enough yet to actually have that achieved level of realism, so it's more of a clashing of styles ('toony' versus 'realistic';) that causes me problems.)

Once I actually get good at inking and I get a tool that works well, I might start to appreciate the ease at which it allows you to create work while still allowing the work to look good. (But I have to get good at it, first.) :P

Thanks so much for the feedback once again.

Ah.. and yes, it's photographed. (and came out a bit dark.)

Thank you very much and no problem. :)
